NOTICE on EXAM SCHEDULE FOR RRB NTPC CBT-2

The 2nd Stage RRB NTPC CBT will be held in single phase from 15th Feb-2022 to 19th Feb-2022

Each of Level. i.e Level 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 of the 7th CPC will have Separate 2nd Stage RRB NTPC CBT. All posts falling within the same level of 7th CPC will have a common 2nd stage RRB NTPC CBT

The Roll Number for RRB NTPC CBT-2 is same as that of RRB NTPC CBT-1.

The LINK for viewing the Exam City & Date and downloading of Travelling Authority for SC/ST candidates will be made available on all RRB websites by 3rd Feb 2022.

Indian Railways to start Computer Based Test for notified vacancies from 15th December 2020

Indian Railways had notified 3 types of vacancies. These were 35208 for NTPC (non technical popular categories like guards, office clerks, commercial clerks etc), 1663 for Isolated & Ministerial categories (Steno & Teaches etc) and 103769 for Level 1 vacancies (track maintainers, pointsman etc). In all RRBs had notified a total of 1.40 lakh such vacancies for NTPC categories, Level-1 Posts and isolated and miscellaneous categories. Against the above vacancies, RRBs had received more than 2.40 crore applications. The Computer Based Test (CBT) for above vacancies had to be deferred due to Covid-19 pandemic and resultant lockdown which was imposed throughout country.

SOPs for conduct of examination of this magnitude are being framed. Norms of social distancing and other protocols prescribed by the various Central and State authorities need to be followed which are essential in the interest of safety of candidates.

Railway now proposes to commence 1st stage online computer based tests from 15 December, 2020 and necessary action has been initiated in this regard.

ONLINE Applications are invited by RRBs for the posts of Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) i.e. Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Trains Clerk, Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Traffic Assistant, Goods Guard, Senior Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist, Senior Time Keeper, Commercial Apprentice and Station Master in  various Zonal Railways and Production Units of Indian Railways.

RRB NTPC Eligibility Conditions :
Nationality

A candidate for appointment to Railway Services must be
(a) a citizen of India , or
(b) a subject of Nepal, or
(c) a subject of Bhutan, or
(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January,1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
(e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan,  Burma, Sri Lanka, the East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda and the United Republic of Tanzania or from Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

RRB NTPC Age Limit :

For RRB NTPC Under Graduate Posts : Candidates age should between 18 to 30 Years as on 01.07.2019 i.e. born between 02.07.1989 and 01.07.2001

For RRB NTPC Graduate Posts : Candidates age should between 18 to 33 Years as on 01.07.2019 i.e. born between 02.07.1986 and 01.07.2001

 RRB NTPC Selection Process : The recruitment process shall involve
RRB NTPC 1st Stage Computer Based Test(CBT),
RRB NTPC 2nd Stage Computer  Based  Test (CBT),
Typing Skill Test/Computer Based Aptitude Test (as applicable)
and Document Verification/Medical  Examination.
Selection is made strictly as per merit, on the basis of above mentioned recruitment stages.
The date, time and venue for all the activities viz. CBTs, Typing Skill Test/
Computer based Aptitude Test, Document Verification, Medical Examination or any other
additional activity as applicable shall be fixed by the RRBs and shall be intimated to
the eligible candidates in due course.

How to Apply RRB NTPC Application Form: Only single ONLINE application (common to all the notified posts in opted RRB) has to be submitted by the candidate through the link provided on the official websites of RRBs.
(a) Candidates can apply for the notified posts of any one RRB only
as per their eligibility through ONLINE application mode by visiting the official website of RRBs
Click on the New Registration.
b) Select the RRB to which you wish to apply. Please be aware that, RRB once
selected cannot  be  changed after the preliminary registration is completed
and Registration number is allotted. 

Examination Fee :

 The examination fee paid by the candidates whose application is incomplete or those who have not submitted their application or whose application is rejected, will not be refunded.

Modes of Payment of Fee :
a. ONLINE fee payment through internet banking or debit/credit cards or UPI.
b. OFFLINE fee payment through
i. SBI Challan Payment mode in any branch of SBI.
ii.Post Office Challan Payment mode in any branch of Computerized Post OfficeClosing Date and Time of Fee Payment : The offline payment will be allowed till 15:00 hrs. of 05.04.2019 and Online payment will be allowed till 23.59 hrs. of 05.04.2019, for candidates who register successfully till 23:59 hrs. of 31.03.2019.
After making payment, these candidates should submit their applications on or before 23.59 hrs. of 12.04.2019.
All applicable service charges for fee payment through the mode of payment chosen
shall be borne by the candidate.
If the fee is paid through off line mode the receipt should be preserved. The same should be produced on demand at the time of document verification.
